Purewa Cemetery allows single and double depth plots. Each plot measures 2.4m x 1.2m and has an exclusive right of burial for a period not exceeding 60 years. Memorials comprise a bronze plaque laid flat on a concrete berm. Each bronze plaque measures 455mm x 370mm.
The Purewa Cemetery Trust Board does not allow the public to reserve plots for future use.
CHILDREN AND STILLBORN SANCTUARY
In 2000, the Purewa Cemetery Trust Board developed an area specifically designed for the interment of children. These plots only provide single depth burials.
